History.

Back in November 2004, engineers Daniel Pfeifer and Jan Haferkamp founded psX Consulting GmbH. The two got to know one another in the 1990s as students at RWTH Aachen University and have since 2003 been working together on industrial projects. It quickly became apparent that Daniel Pfeifer, with his many ideas, and go-getter Jan Haferkamp complemented one another in their ways of working and thinking.

In real terms, this means that they do not want to restrict themselves to the creation of strategic consultancy concepts; instead, they want to use their project management expertise to provide practical support to their clients in their daily business. Both agree that successful project work can only be carried out by a qualified, motivated and well-versed team. At the same time, it is essential to share and continuously increase the pool of knowledge as a common value. 

Its unbroken record of top-quality achievement allows psX to intensify its existing contacts with industry and to extend its network in a goal-oriented way. Partner companies and clients appreciate in particular the results-driven work and practical application of its solutions. The healthy state of the order books confirms that the young company is on the right track. Aviation, telecoms, the financial sector, the car industry, wind energy – in the wake of positive results in the start-up phase psX follows a course of consistent expansion of its business areas. 

Increasing numbers of highly qualified graduates, looking for an ambitious employer with good development perspectives who will give them the space to explore their own visions, turn to psX. The arrival of new staff at the same time expands the company's collective know-how: So it is, for example, that an autonomous IT team establishes itself alongside the core business of project management, thus opening up new horizons for psX.  

Daniel Pfeifer and Jan Haferkamp are delighted with this development, and, at the start of 2008, they invite four of their most outstanding key personnel to join the management board. 

Michael Behnck, Christian Berwing, Jürgen Rosenauer and Sven Schmellenkamp bring their particular personalities and new areas of expertise to the party, thus enriching psX yet further. It goes without saying that they are fully behind the company’s motto: 100 % performance.
