As Master of Science in Multimedia Management und Bachelor of Science in Internet Science and Technology Michael Behnck has an eye for the big picture. After graduating, Michael was able to prove the worth of his interdisciplinary approach as a project manager and software developer for the telecoms sector, thereby gaining his first experience in an intercultural environment. In November 2005, he decides on a change of course and joined psX in the field of electronics for the Airbus A380.

“At psX it's the individual who counts,” says Michael Behnck by way of justification of his new direction. “Here I had the opportunity right from the start to take responsibility and to develop my skills in an interesting environment.” At the same time, his mix of IT expertise and business economics knowledge forms the ideal basis for further tasks in his roles of IT consultant and project manager at psX.

The cool headed thinker

Because the possibility of actually getting something done excites him more than the idea of a quiet and safe life, Christian Berwing decides in March 2006 to join psX on a freelance basis. Having cut his teeth at a supplier to the car industry as a trainee, working student and project manager in development and technical sales and distribution, his first job at psX is as assistant to the project manager in a “recovery” project in the European Airbus A380 programme. There he gains his first experience of the aviation industry and later assumes project management and staff functions at a supply company. In doing so, he deepens his knowledge of the creation and management of highly complex projects. After many years of project management experience the graduate industrial engineer adds a further string to his bow by obtaining extra-occupational IPMA certification as a project manager.

As a stake holding managing director of psX Technology Christian Berwing is also responsible for office organisation and staff qualification in the field of project management. “I have thrown in my lot with a company that allows staff to have a performance-related share in the company's success,” Christian Berwing says. “At psX we don’t hide behind proliferating hierarchies. What matters here are personal commitment and performance in the team context. This is what won me over.”

The perennial multi-tasker

After graduating as an industrial engineer Jürgen Rosenauer becomes managing director of a multimedia agency with responsibility for the IT and corporate planning project areas. In April 2006 the professional project manager opts for a new challenge. In psX he finds an innovative employer who can offer him forward-looking perspectives for his further professional development and an exciting environment in which to work. Jürgen Rosenauer starts out as a multi-project manager in the A380 programme. From July 2007 he takes on responsibility for the project of drafting client-specific adapted seat models for Recaro, also working hands-on. “No hierarchies, a great team and brilliant clients. For me that's what makes psX special,” explains the multi-tasker. Alongside the daily project business, Jürgen Rosenauer is also charged with the responsibility of all relevant corporate marketing tasks. Never still for a moment, he always completely and utterly lives up to his own motto: “To stand still is to go backwards!”

The captivating charmer

Sven Schmellenkamp is the living embodiment of the particular hallmark of psX: high-class performances do not remain undiscovered for long and quickly lead to success! In a change of career, the professional travel agent joins the young Hamburg company in September 2005 and it quickly becomes apparent that Sven Schmellenkamp is making a first class job of bringing his many years of experience as a project and interim manager, amongst others with Euvia Travel GmbH, to bear on the new sector environment of aviation, mobile telephony and telecoms. His qualities as a personnel manager and team leader across different sites with up to 220 staff, along with his infectious enthusiasm for his work, make him increasingly indispensable for psX.

Alongside the daily project business, Sven Schmellenkamp is responsible for the fields of International Affairs and Events as well as personnel management and customer care. “There are good days and there are bad days,” the charmer says, revealing the secret of his success. “Both are good: you just need to know how to use them.”
